Booking basics
Mobile bartenders book by the date, not the walk-in — popular Saturdays (especially May–October) go months out, so inquire early with your date, venue, guest count, and whether you want a full package or dry hire. Most will hold a date with a deposit and a signed agreement.

From the reviews
My husband and I hired A&Js for our wedding this past March and they did NOT disappoint. We hired 4 bartenders/staff for our 150 person wedding. I’ve attended weddings where the bartenders just lazily stood behind the bar and that was all they did. Our bartenders did much more than just bartender.
We hired A&J Bartending for a small gathering at our home. They were quick to respond, reasonably priced, and had a phone conversation beforehand to coordinate. The bartender, Jeremy, arrived an hour before the scheduled event to get everything set up.
I hired A&J for my wife's birthday party we hosted at our home. All of the communication leading up to the event was smooth and prompt. The invoicing process was painless. They arrived early before the party to set up the bar and drop off the supplies.
We used A&J Bartending for my husband’s 60th birthday. Our bartender was outstanding! Jeremy was friendly and accommodating. He made hand crafted cocktails of our choosing and everyone loved them. He was on time, set up and helped pick up glasses during and after the party.
Booking A&J Bartending for a wedding
Weddings come up for A&J Bartending — confirmed on their own site, so they'll know the rhythm of the day: cocktail hour hits all at once, then the bar settles into a steady hum until the last dance. Two numbers get your quote right. First, the staffing math: the standard rule is one bartender per 50–75 guests — so a 150-guest wedding usually means two to three bartenders, and going thin here is the classic cocktail-hour line mistake. Second, drinks per guest: plan on roughly two drinks in the first hour and one per hour after; a dry-hire bartender can turn that into an exact shopping list for your headcount so nothing runs out and nothing goes back to the store.

Corporate events with A&J Bartending
Reviews and the service's own materials mention corporate events at A&J Bartending — holiday parties, launches, client mixers. For office events, three things are worth settling on the first call: whether they carry the liquor liability insurance your building or venue requires, whether they can run a mocktail or zero-proof menu alongside the bar, and how invoicing works if your company needs a W-9 and net-30 terms.
