Booking basics
Mobile bartenders book by the date, not the walk-in — popular Saturdays (especially May–October) go months out, so inquire early with your date, venue, guest count, and whether you want a full package or dry hire. Most will hold a date with a deposit and a signed agreement.

I just completed my two week training. I was really skeptical of being able to remember SOOO many cocktail recipes; however, the instructors (I had Dillon, Bryan, and Lou throughout my two weeks) do a really great job presenting the material, giving you tricks to remember recipes, and providing feedback.
The best thing about this school? It’s 100% hands-on. You practice behind a real bar every day, and the lifetime job placement actually works — I landed my first gig fast.
I came to this school because I wanted something that actually fit NYC nightlife, not a random certificate. From the first class, you’re behind a real bar, learning how to move fast and stay calm when it gets busy. The instructors clearly know the scene and didn’t sugarcoat anything.
This course was exactly what I needed at this stage of my life. I’m balancing creative work and needed a flexible but reliable income stream. The instructors understood that world and didn’t talk down to anyone.
