I was in a pinch: I needed a fun activity for a virtual holiday staff party for the nonprofit where I work. Enter Bartender Barry! Before our virtual cocktail party with Barry, I had never made a cocktail in my life. As you can see from my picture, Barry is a wonderful teacher.
Every holiday season I am used to planning a holiday party for the staff of my organization. However, like with several other events and programs this year that was not possible due to the pandemic. I was considering several different activities that could be engaging as possible while being a virtual event.
I had been tempted by Barry's drinks for a few holidays now and finally went for it for Valentine's Day. We got Cafe Amore, and it was so. good. Perfectly balanced, lasted in the fridge [there were only two of us so we split it up over a few days]. Communication for delivery was great, and he even delivered it himself.
We didn't want the pandemic to stop our staff from having a Holiday Party, but knew we would have to do something safely. Enter Bartender Barry. He provided a Zoom party for 14 staff and taught us how to make four fancy delicious drinks!
