Booking basics
Mobile bartenders book by the date, not the walk-in — popular Saturdays (especially May–October) go months out, so inquire early with your date, venue, guest count, and whether you want a full package or dry hire. Most will hold a date with a deposit and a signed agreement.

From the reviews
POTR handled all the bartending and staffing needs for our wedding, and they made everything so easy. Their online portal helps to keep things organized, and they took care of getting us some additional rentals (like linens, flatware, glasses, etc.), including picking them up and returning them for us.
Very chill, very easy to work with. They sent Valerie, who was kind, professional, and rolled with the flow of our wedding. She made a hectic job look easy, and the drinks were great. I recommend these guys for your bartending needs.
We hired bartenders and event staff from Party on the Rocks for our wedding. It was such a busy day, I barely remember them being there. Which is high praise in my opinion. That is how seamless everything was. I didn't have to worry about drinks getting to guests or buffet items getting replenished.
WOW! Booking Party on the Rocks as event staff was one of THE BEST things I did for my wedding. I was a DIY bride to the max - we did all of our own music, decor, and made all of our own food for a 120 person wedding which included pre-ceremony snacks/refreshments/lawn games, cocktail hour, and dinner/reception.
Booking Party on the Rocks for a wedding
Weddings come up for Party on the Rocks — confirmed on their own site, so they'll know the rhythm of the day: cocktail hour hits all at once, then the bar settles into a steady hum until the last dance. Two numbers get your quote right. First, the staffing math: the standard rule is one bartender per 50–75 guests — so a 150-guest wedding usually means two to three bartenders, and going thin here is the classic cocktail-hour line mistake. Second, drinks per guest: plan on roughly two drinks in the first hour and one per hour after; a dry-hire bartender can turn that into an exact shopping list for your headcount so nothing runs out and nothing goes back to the store.

Corporate events with Party on the Rocks
Reviews and the service's own materials mention corporate events at Party on the Rocks — holiday parties, launches, client mixers. For office events, three things are worth settling on the first call: whether they carry the liquor liability insurance your building or venue requires, whether they can run a mocktail or zero-proof menu alongside the bar, and how invoicing works if your company needs a W-9 and net-30 terms.
