Booking basics
Mobile bartenders book by the date, not the walk-in — popular Saturdays (especially May–October) go months out, so inquire early with your date, venue, guest count, and whether you want a full package or dry hire. Most will hold a date with a deposit and a signed agreement.

As a wedding coordinator, I cannot recommend The Stray Bar enough! I got to work with them in June 2025 at a wedding near Mt. Hood. They arrived on time and were flexible with the trailer parking location. While serving, the bar was kept very organized, which allowed for quick service.
The Stray Bar went above and beyond for our wedding! The setup was so cute, everyone enjoyed their drinks, and they were a delight to work with even with unexpected pivots and shifts from our end. Their team was solid and made it all that much better navigate everything.
Lauren and The Stray Bar are my go to for bartending. Not only are their set ups the CUTEST, but she and her team are wonderful people. They are always so kind, flexible, organized and communicative- not to mention fun!

Two numbers get your quote right. First, the staffing math: the standard rule is one bartender per 50–75 guests — so a 150-guest wedding usually means two to three bartenders, and going thin here is the classic cocktail-hour line mistake. Second, drinks per guest: plan on roughly two drinks in the first hour and one per hour after; a dry-hire bartender can turn that into an exact shopping list for your headcount so nothing runs out and nothing goes back to the store.
