We hired The Trough for a private birthday party, and it was the best decision we made! Karlee and her crew were professional, made excellent drinks, and were fun to talk to! Her mobile bar is so cute and provides a welcoming atmosphere (which was a HUGE hit with our guests).
Hiring The Trough mobile bar for our wedding in Tahoe City was perhaps THE BEST decision we made for our wedding. Initially, we had planned to do bar services through our caterer but ended up reaching out to Karlee super last minute.
Once I came across the Trough I knew I had to have them! The cute converted trailer is such a fun and unique bar experience. We were able to serve draft beer, mixed drinks, and they even provide a self serviced water station as part of the package I chose.
Karlee and The Trough team were amazing. Very responsive and professional from start to finish. They were a pleasure to work with. Their bar trailer and delicious cocktails/beers on tap added so much to our party. Everyone was very impressed with the service and hospitality they provide. Their trailer is beautiful!

Weddings come up for The Trough — confirmed on their own site, so they'll know the rhythm of the day: cocktail hour hits all at once, then the bar settles into a steady hum until the last dance. Two numbers get your quote right. First, the staffing math: the standard rule is one bartender per 50–75 guests — so a 150-guest wedding usually means two to three bartenders, and going thin here is the classic cocktail-hour line mistake. Second, drinks per guest: plan on roughly two drinks in the first hour and one per hour after; a dry-hire bartender can turn that into an exact shopping list for your headcount so nothing runs out and nothing goes back to the store.
