Booking basics
Mobile bartenders book by the date, not the walk-in — popular Saturdays (especially May–October) go months out, so inquire early with your date, venue, guest count, and whether you want a full package or dry hire. Most will hold a date with a deposit and a signed agreement.

From the reviews
We hired two bartenders from Total Bartending in October for our home wedding in a rural area of NW PA with about 130 people. I met with Robert twice at length in advance of the wedding to discuss what we were looking for at our wedding and just by talking to him I know he was very experienced and would do a great job…
June 2025 We recently hired TBP for our wedding of over 250 people. From our very first meeting with Robert we knew this was the right choice. Their knowledge, responsiveness, and professionalism blew us away throughout the wedding planning process.
Rob and Allison were absolutely wonderful to work with! We collaborated so well on what was needed for my 40th birthday celebration. Very attentive business and you can tell they take pride in the business and what they do. Very professional.
Total Bartending did an amazing job at our wedding! We worked closely up to the wedding to make sure we were on the same page about the amount of alcohol we had to buy, which garnishes we wanted available, mixers, etc. Total Bartending was very easy to work with and came at a great price.
Booking Total Bartending for a wedding
Weddings come up for Total Bartending — confirmed on their own site, so they'll know the rhythm of the day: cocktail hour hits all at once, then the bar settles into a steady hum until the last dance. Two numbers get your quote right. First, the staffing math: the standard rule is one bartender per 50–75 guests — so a 150-guest wedding usually means two to three bartenders, and going thin here is the classic cocktail-hour line mistake. Second, drinks per guest: plan on roughly two drinks in the first hour and one per hour after; a dry-hire bartender can turn that into an exact shopping list for your headcount so nothing runs out and nothing goes back to the store.

Corporate events with Total Bartending
Reviews and the service's own materials mention corporate events at Total Bartending — holiday parties, launches, client mixers. For office events, three things are worth settling on the first call: whether they carry the liquor liability insurance your building or venue requires, whether they can run a mocktail or zero-proof menu alongside the bar, and how invoicing works if your company needs a W-9 and net-30 terms.
